TERMS AND CONDITIONS – SUMMER SUP PADDLE BOARD HIRE
Our booking fee has had to be introduced due to a high volume of people booking sessions and failing to turn up without any point of contact, costing us time and money. However whatever you pay for your booking (£5.00 per board) it is then deducted off the final amount you owe on the day, this way you arent paying any more just holding your place and then we know you will definitely turn up on the day.
If people want to pay their whole board rental there and then to our BACS then that is absolutely fine also.
Our deposit scheme is implemented in order cover Summer SUP Paddle board hire for any damages incurred to SUP’s accessories and equipment hired by the customer.
A standard damage deposit amount of £50.00 per board will be charged to the customer upon collection of the SUP. The deposit charge is refunded upon return of the boards on condition that there has been no loss or damage caused to the stand up paddleboard, accessories or equipment. The deposit must be paid upon collection of the equipment.
WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
This paragraph outlines and waives and releases all claims of negligence or strict liability arising out of use or misuse from equipment provided from Summer SUP Paddle board hire. I/we fully understand, recognise, and accept that these kinds of sports can pose inherent risks and dangers such as the possibility of injury to myself or others, damages to equipment, and even death.
We can only allow customers over the age of 18 years to be responsible for signing our waiver forms. As long as you are over the age of 12 years old and accompanied by a responsible adult, will we allow the boards to be hired out.
As a condition for the use of these SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) boards I/we assume all responsibility for any injury or damage of any nature and extent. I/we agree to use my best judgement in undertaking this activity.
LOSS & DAMAGE
I/we shall be responsible for any loss or damage to the SUP board or related accessories for any reason whatsoever. In the event of equipment malfunction or failure becoming apparent during the period of hire, I/we agree to return and/or to immediately notify Summer SUP Paddle board Hire. I/we acknowledge that no repairs of any kind are to be made to the SUP Board without the prior consent of Summer SUP Paddle board Hire. In no event shall Summer SUP Paddle board Hire be responsible for any expenditure, inconvenience or loss incurred to the hirer.
RETURN OF GOODS
Your deposit will be refunded in full once all equipment is returned to Summer SUP Paddle board Hire on or before the due date, in good order and in good condition. I/we agree to pay for any damages incurred to any equipment. The damage costs are listed on the waiver that will be given to you upon collection of the SUP(Stand up Paddle board).
If for any reason you need to cancel your booking, please advise us as soon as possible with at least 24 hours notice. Regrettably, should you need to cancel within the 24 hours notice period, then we will not be able to return your deposit, we will however honour a mutually agreed re-booking date.
